Google I/O kicks off this week and if CNET’s sources are to be believed, Samsung will have its own product to show off at the Google’s developer conference – a smartwatch powered by Google’s Android Wear platform.
According to their source, Samsung has been working on two variants of Android Wear smartwatch – one running on a Samsung chip and another powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
The report also mentions other companies to shed more details on their Android Wear smartwatch plans but the one with Samsung is particularly interesting because Samsung switched from Android to Tizen for its new generation smartwatches.
Whatever the case is, expect more clarity when Google I/O starts on June 25.
