Google unveiled Android L today – the next version of Android OS – at the Google I/O today and while there are many changes and improvements in the new Android version, one particular improvement is in the enterprise security feature. The interesting part about this is that part of Samsung’s Knox technology will be integrated into the next version of Android and Google’s Sundar Pichai was quick to acknowledge the contribution from Samsung.
The new enterprise feature will allow users to keep their work and personal files and apps separate while allowing users to use a single device.
Samsung Knox is currently the only Android provider that complies and is certified by the Department of Defense (DoD).
