Samsung extends Olympic Games partnership through 2020

Samsung has announced an extension of its partnership with the Olympic Games till 2020. Samsung will continue to be a Worldwide Olympic Partner in the Wireless Communications Equipment category and the new agreement will extend through to the 2020 Olympic Games.

Samsung’s Jay Y Lee attended the signing ceremony that took place in Nanjing, China.

Samsung’s association with the Olympic Games started in 1988 when Samsung signed up to be a local sponsor in the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games and joined ‘The Olympic Partner Programme’ in 1998.
