Samsung is planning to set up a factory in Indonesia, according to a Reuters report. Considering as one of the fastest growing markets in the world, Samsung wants to cater to the Indonesian market with locally produced mobile devices.
There’s no word on the size of the investment but Samsung expects to start with a monthly capacity of 100,000 units and gradually expanding to 900,000 units per month.
Samsung currently has factories in China and Vietnam.
