Samsung to stop selling laptops in Europe

September 23, 2014 By kunal Leave a Comment

Chromebook 2

Samsung has confirmed that they’ll stop selling laptops in the European market, according to a report on PC Advisor. Samsung hasn’t revealed the exact reason but it’s safe to assume it is due to slowing down of PC sales in the last few years.

Google’s Chrome OS powered Chromebook will also go off sale in Europe.

Samsung is quick to point out that the latest decision does not affect any other regions and will “continue to thoroughly evaluate market conditions.”

Samsung has also stopped selling laptops in India but consumers can find the Chromebook on sale through Croma Retail.
