Opera has confirmed that Opera Mini will be the first web browser to feature in Samsung’s standalone Gear S smartwatch. The browser will enable smartwatch users surf the internet from the wrist and even compress the webpages to deliver a faster surfing experience and save on the 3G bandwidth.
Opera seems to have tweaked the Opera Mini UI to be more finger-friendly like large Speed Dial buttons, Smart Page for social updates and latest news and even includes private browsing.
Opera Mini will be downloadable for free from Samsung Gear Apps.
