
Samsung has expanded its Nook tablet range with a new addition known as the Galaxy Tab 4 Nook 10.1. Touted as the biggest Nook ever, the 10.1-inch co-branded tablet gives the Android OS along with the Nook software experience enabling users access to a wide variety of books, comics, Nook apps and videos.
Hardware-wise, it’s similar to a regular Galaxy Tab 4 with a 10.1-inch HD display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB RAM, 1.3 megapixel front-facing and 3 megapixel rear-facing cameras, Multi-window, GPS, microSD card slot and battery life of about 10 hours.
Samsung says the tablet will have a new Nook software with a cleaner and a better user interface and improved immersive shopping experience. The new software will also be rolled out to existing Galaxy Tab 4 Nook 7 users.
The tablet is now available in the United States at an introductory price of $299.99 with $200 worth of free Nook content.
