US Carriers announce Samsung Gear S pricing and availability

US carriers, Sprint T-Mobile and T-Mobile have announced the availability and pricing of Samsung’s standalone smartwatch, Gear S. Sprint users will be able to pick up the smartwatch from November 7 through Sprint’s sales channels for $0 down (plus tax) and 24 monthly payments of $16. AT&T will also sell from November 7 for $199.99 on contract whereas T-Mobile will start sales from November 9 for $0 down (and $14.58 for 24 months).

Meanwhile, Verizon has listed the Gear S as coming soon whereas T-Mobile will start selling from .

Gear S is powered by Tizen’s wearable platform and can place voice calls and use data over 3G network. The Gear S comes with a 2-inch curved AOMLED display, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, an IP67-certified dust and water-resistant body, PS, 4GB internal memory, Heart-rate sensor, UV Sensor, Barometer and 300mAh battery that will give about 2 days of battery life.

Gear S runs a number of apps like Nike+, Opera Mini, HERE Maps and comes loaded with Samsung enhancements like S Voice, Power Saving Mode and S Health.
