Hyunchil Hong has been appointed as the new President of Samsung Southwest Asia region. Hong takes over the responsibility from BD Park who held the position since 2012. Prior to this, Hong was the President of Samsung Electronics Latin America.
Hong will be based out of Gurgaon, India that serves as a headquarter of the region.
Meanwhile, Park will head sales and marketing for digital appliances business in South Korea.
