Keeping its promise, Samsung has finally announced the Galaxy Note Edge smartphone for the Indian market. Although the actual sale will begin from next month, Samsung has revealed the price, which will cost a hefty Rs. 64,900, slightly higher than what Samsung had priced the Galaxy Note 4 at the launch.
The higher price also brings in an innovative edge screen that gives quick access to email, favourite apps, notifications and more. A display on the side also enables to check some quick news without having to turn on the main 5.6-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display (2560×1440).
Rounding up the specs, the phone is similar to the Galaxy Note 4 and features S Pen input, 16 megapixel camera with front-facing 3.7 megapixel camera, 2.7GHz quad-core processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal memory with microSD card slot, Wi-Fi 802.11ac MIMO, Bluetooth 4.1, infrared port, barometer, UV sensor, fingerprint scanner and 3000mAh battery.
The Indian variant will also support 4G LTE, just like its regular Galaxy Note 4 sibling.
