Samsung has introduced a new variant of the Galaxy Note 4 in South Korea that is similar in hardware and software to the original except for one major change. The Galaxy Note 4 S-LTE is LTE-A Tri-Band CA enabled that offers four times faster speed than that of today’s LTE service and a download peak of up to 300Mbps. The phone is able to achieve this feat due to its ability to receive three different frequency bands and aggregate together into a single connection, allowing users to download a 700MB video in 19 seconds.
To rehash the features of the Galaxy Note 4, the phone comes with a 5.7-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display, 3GB RAM, 20/20/20MHz (3XCA LTE) or 40MHz LTE support, 16 megapixel camera, 3.7 megapixel front-facing camera, 32GB internal memory, microSD card slot, 3220mAh battery, S Pen support with Air Command, Multi Window, Ultra Power Saving Mode, S Health, Fingerprint scanner, HRM sensor and more.
The phone will go on sale in the coming weeks.
