Samsung today announced the SUHD TV at the CES event in Las Vegas. Samsung promises breakthrough with this TV and is equipped with nano-crystal technology for accurate colour reproduction and re-mastering engine that automatically analyses the brightness of images to minimise additional power consumption.
The biggest change in the SUHD TV is the software, which runs Tizen along with Samsung’s Smart Hub. In fact, every 2015 Smart TV from Samsung will now be powered by Tizen OS. Furthermore, the TV supports Quick Connect to automatically pair with Bluetooth connected Galaxy devices, Milk Video, Sports Live and more.
On the design front, the SUHD TV JS9500 features chamfer bezel design and a textured shirring design at the back to make it look premium.
The SUHD TV series consists of JS9500, JS9000 and JS8500 models and will come in nine screen sizes from 48-inches to 88-inches.
