Okay, it’s more of an eyes-on than a hands-on but Samsung’s focus at this year’s CES is pretty clear. Behold the marquee of Samsung’s announcement – the SUHD TV. Samsung is pitching the SUHD TV, one step further than the current breed of curved 4K UHD TVs and promises better picture quality, colour accuracy and power efficiency with nano-crystal technology and re-mastering engine.
The SUHD TV is also the first range from Samsung to run Tizen and given the demos we saw at Samsung’s booth, the OS looks promising, at least on the TV front. The PlayStation Now service also works out of the box that requires only a PlayStation controller to enjoy a plethora of PS4 games.
Samsung TVs are known for its design so it comes as a no surprise that the SUHD TV JS series features a chamfered bezel design and textured shirring at the back.
