A new leak by SamMobile confirms Samsung is preparing yet another device. This time it’s the Galaxy J1, an entry-level phone that will soon hit the retail market. Although there’s no mention of the price, given Samsung’s history, we reckon it will be around the Rs. 5,000 mark.
Nevertheless, the Galaxy J1 will feature a 4.3-inch WVGA display, 1.2GHz 64-bit quad-core Marvell PXA1908 processor, 1GB RAM, Android 4.4, 5 megapixel and 2 megapixel cameras, 4GB internal memory, microSD card slot and 1850mAh battery. Samsung will bring the device in LTE and 3G variants along with single or dual SIM support.
Samsung has an event scheduled in India today, which means Galaxy J1 could make its way out in the next few hours.
