We’ve got a good one month before Samsung unveils their latest flagship phone to the world but Korea Herald has got some info that claims will be an important feature in the Galaxy S6. Apparently, Samsung plans to integrate a digital payment system, Samsung Pay and it will be different than what Apple is doing with the Apple Pay service.
Samsung will take advantage of LoopPay’s technology that doesn’t require NFC to process the payment but instead will take advantage of the existing magnetic secure transmission technology, enabling the payment system to be widely acceptable. Additional security will be provided by the embedded fingerprint authentication technology.
This is not the first time we’re hearing about a possible association between Samsung and LoopPay. The partnership came into light in December when an American site claimed a similar integration in the next generation Samsung phone.
