Samsung at the Samsung Forum in Europe has announced the expansion of its NX camera lineup with the NX500. Samsung says they’ve integrated the core functionality of NX1 in the NX500 and comes with a 28 megapixel BSI APS-C sensor and Hybrid AF system that improves pictures in low light scenario, built-in HEVC codec that enables 4K or UHD video to half the size compared to H.264 footage, DRIMeV processor that promises superior colour reproduction, improved noise reduction and enhanced image quality.
The NX500 also comes with Interval Capture Mode that can be converted to a UHD Time-Lapse video directly on the camera, 9fps continuous shooting, Samsung Auto Shot that automatically clicks a picture on detecting motion. Furthermore, it has a 3-inch Super AMOLED FWVGA display that can be tilted or flipped along with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC and SD card slot.
NX500 will be available from March 2015 in Black, White and Brown colours.
