Samsung’s Galaxy S6 edge was recognised as the “Best New Handset, Tablet or Device” from the GSMA at Mobile World Congress 2015. This is the second year where Samsung has received such award with Gear Fit being the previous recipient in 2014.
Galaxy S6 edge’s uniqueness is the dual edge display and state-of-the-art hardware used in the device like 14nm octa-core Exynos processor, 3GB LPDDR4 RAM and UFS 2.0 internal memory that is up to 3 times faster than the eMMC solution.
Samsung also won an award for the Best Security/Anti-fraud Product of Solution for its KNOX mobile security platform.
