Cross-town rivals, Samsung and LG have been engaged in lawsuits for quite some time. While some complaints included serious offences like stealing technology, vandalising washing machines is what is grabbing the headlines for both the companies recently. Today, both companies have issued a joint statement saying they have ended all their ongoing disputes and lawsuits.
The settlement extends to Samsung Electronics’ subsidiary (Samsung Display) as well and have asked the court to stop the investigation of any ongoing complaint.
Both sides have agreed to avoid legal action and resolve any future conflicts or disputes through dialogue and mutual agreement.
