Samsung has announces its new SUHD TV range for the Indian market. The flagship SUHD TVs were announced earlier this year at the CES and improves on last year’s Samsung’s UHD TV range with better picture quality, colour accuracy and power efficiency. The 55-inch and 65-inch SUHD TVs boast Nano Crystal technology that ensures amazing colours, contrast and brightness along with re-mastering engine.
The new TVs are powered by Samsung’s Tizen OS that gives an access to decent amount of apps and new Smart Hub interface. The SUHD TV in US and select other countries also support PlayStation Now service that allows a user to play PS4 games directly on their TV without the controller. However, we’re not sure if PlayStation Now has been included for the Indian variant.
Lastly, on the design front, Samsung says they have taken cues from contemporary art and architecture to feature Chamfer bezel design and a soft, textured Shirring design on the back to make it look elegant even from the back.
The 55-inch SUHD TV is priced in India at Rs. 3,14,900 whereas the 65-inch SUHD TV goes for Rs. 4,40,900.
