UPDATE: Even WSJ has published a similar report claiming the device will be launched earlier than expected.
Samsung generally unveils a new Galaxy Note device during the IFA tradeshow in September. This year, however, things will be different if we go by Reuters’ report. According to their sources, Samsung will reveal the upcoming Galaxy Note in mid-August. That’s about a fortnight early than the usual timeline. Although the announcement is said to one-up Apple since they announce their new iPhone in September, the real reason seems to give a boost to its decreasing earnings.
Despite the launch of Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 edge in the second quarter, Samsung will not see any major jump in the earnings in the same financial quarter. In fact, according to the earnings guidance shared by Samsung, their earnings will most likely remain at the same level as Q1 2015.
