Samsung has been talking a lot about Internet of Things (IoT) but has been coy with its SmartThings acquisition, until now. A new Samsung SmartThings Hub is now available for pre-order or can be purchased when it’s released in early September.
There’s not much info at the moment but the improved $99 Hub will now work locally without having to rely on internet connection all the time. Samsung will introduce more SmartThings products in the coming weeks with an enhanced mobile app experience.
The device can be pre-orderd from SmartThings’ website, Amazon or Samsung.com.
