Samsung has been selling SSDs, SD and microSD cards in the market for quite some time and now completing the NAND flash lineup is the newly announced USB flash drives. The new drives feature Samsung’s reliable NAND flash technology along with a premium metallic design.

The new USB flash drives come in three different form factors – regular Bar type, FIT and DUO. The Bar type flash drive boasts a champagne coloured exterior with high-quality metal casing and comes in capacities ranging from 16GB, 32GB and 64GB.

The FIT drive is highly compact that weighs just over two grams and offers storage capacities of 32GB and 64GB.

Finally, the DUO gives the best of both worlds by offering a full-size USB port along with a microUSB port for smartphones and tablets.

The complete flash drive range supports USB 3.0 that gives a read speed of up to 130MB/s and features Samsung’s 5-proof technology guarantee that ensures the drive to withstand in up to 72 hours in seawater, extreme temperatures (-0°C to 60°C), X-ray machines, shock resistant (up to 1500 gravitational force) and resist up to 15,000 gauss magnetic force.

Samsung plans to bring 128GB USB flash drives later this year but these for the time being, these drives will be sell in South Korea, the United States, China, Europe and other regions.
