Samsung has confirmed that both of its recently announced devices will sell in its home market, South Korea. Samsung will sell the 32GB and 64GB variant of the Galaxy Note 5 in White Pearl, Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum colour options whereas the Galaxy S6 edge+ will sell only with 32GB internal storage and Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum colours.
Both phones are spec’d similarly with few differences in the design and the display department. The Galaxy S6 edge+ comes with dual edge display while the Galaxy Note 5 curves at the back for a comfortable one hand use.
Under the hood, both phones are powered by Samsung’s 14nm 64-bit Exynos octa-core processor, 4GB RAM, UFS 2.0 memory, 5.7-inch Quad HD AMOLED Display (2560×1440), 16 megapixel rear-facing camera, 5 megapixel front-facing camera, NFC and MST for Samsung Pay, fingerprint and heart rate sensor and 3000mAh battery with fast charging support.
Both devices run Android 5.1 and comes with live broadcasting support through YouTube Live.
The 32GB and 64GB Galaxy Note 5 are priced at 899,800 won and 965,800 won respectively while the Galaxy S6 edge+ will sell for 939,400 won.
