UPDATE: Samsung has confirmed the US pricing and release date. It will be available from November 6 for $599.99.
The Galaxy View is Samsung’s gargantuan Android tablet and you already know that but today Samsung has shed more details on its largest Android device yet. The Galaxy View is optimised for media consumption, which is why you’ll see a video-centric user interface and a long lasting battery life.
For media consumption, the Galaxy View supports a number of media services and features an 18.4-inch Full HD display and high-quality stereo speakers. Interestingly, the tablet will also support 4G LTE and come with a 1.6GHz octa-core processor, 2GB RAM, Android 5.1 Lollipop, 32GB or 64GB internal memory, microSD card slot and a 5700mAh battery delivering up to 8 hours of run time.
The only thing Samsung hasn’t confirmed is its price and availability but our guess is that it will be available next month.
