Samsung’s strategy to integrate SmartThings platform into its devices is picking up pace. The Korean giant announced that its entire 2016 Smart TV lineup will be Internet of Things (IoT) ready and support SmartThings platform.

The TV will act as an IoT hub, which means the Smart TVs will be able to control the entire home or about 200 SmartThings compatible devices.

For instance, an outdoor camera will alert the user of any movement and show them on the Smart TV for further action. Another interesting SmartThings app is the Cinema Mood where it will change the room’s ambient lighting and improved sound quality.

Samsung will showcase these TVs at CES next month.
