Samsung has started rolling out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for Galaxy S6 edge and Galaxy S6 edge+ users in its domestic market.
The new update brings in improved performance and some enhanced functions for its edge panel UX. The panel is now widened to 550px from 260px, which for instance, allows news to incorporate images. Tasks edge has also been improved with quick calling and SMS to a specific contact , Quick tools adding one touch access to flashlight and more.
Samsung has not revealed the firmware release timeline for other regions or other devices but it’s safe to assume, Samsung will have more details to share by MWC.
