Samsung India is currently running a campaign for an upcoming smartphone that will be announced on March 31. The details are pretty light at the moment but the copy text confirms the phone will be targeted at motorcyclists and claims to “change the way you ride”. No, it’s not the one we recently wrote about but a new affordable device.
Our source claims this new device will have a feature called Bike Mode that will make it easier for the bikers to concentrate on riding instead of getting disturbed by the incoming calls, notifications. Turning the mode on will mute the calls and notify the caller to reach the user after some time. We’re still trying to confirm this feature but guess we’ll exactly know what it means in the next few days.
If we try to connect the dots further, Bollywood actor, Shahid Kapoor is part of the promotion, which means it’s safe to assume the phone is part of Samsung’s affordable Galaxy J series (most likely Galaxy J3 (2016)). Additionally, Snapdeal seems to be the online partner considering the online store is also running the promotion for the same.
