With Samsung Gear smartwatches getting upgrades every year, we were surprised the same treatment was not extended to its Gear Fit device. Thankfully, Samsung has realised the potential of the device and is following up with Gear Fit 2. Going by the images, the design of the Gear Fit 2 seems to slightly differ than the original. The Fit 2 seems to be curvier, ergonomic and will have a dedicated GPS chip. The images also seem to reveal an easy mechanism to change bands and an extra button at the side.
The Gear IconX is actually a new product in the Gear range. These are wireless touch-controlled earphones, water and dust resistant that act as a fitness tracker and also doubles up as a standalone music player with the integrated 4GB.
There’s no word on the pricing and availability.
