Samsung today expanded its mid-range smartphone lineup with two new J series phones. The Galaxy J5 (2016) and Galaxy J7 (2016) are enhancements over last year’s devices that brings in improved design and features.
The phones feature diamond cut metal frame and comes with 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory with a microSD card slot supporting up to 128GB, Dual SIM functionality, 4G LTE support and 13 megapixel f/1.9 sensor at the back and 5 megapixel camera on the front. The Android Marshmallow running phones have a 5.2-inch (J5) and 5.5-inch (J7) HD Super AMOLED display, 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor on the J5 or 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos processor and 3100mAh (J5) / 3300mAh (J7) battery.
The phones also have S Bike mode that Samsung introduced in the J3 (2016) and Ultra Data Saving Mode.
The phones will be available from midnight tonight on Flipkart and buyers will get up to 30GB of free data from Airtel for the first six months.
