Samsung unveiled their 256GB microSD cards last month and now they’ve announced the availability and price of the same for the Indian market. The EVO Plus 256GB card is now available on Flipkart at a price of Rs. 11,999, already with a Rs. 1,000 discount.
Samsung reckons the card is apt for mobile devices, action cameras, drones and allows consumers to record up to 12 hours of 4K UHD video or 33 hours of Full HD video.
Using Samsung’s V-NAND technology, the EVO Plus boasts a read and a write speed of up to 95MB/s and 90MB/s respectively. Moreover, the card is waterproof (IEC 60529, IPX7), X-ray-proof, magnetic-proof and temperature-proof.
Samsung EVO Plus 256GB is backed by a limited 10-year warranty.
