Samsung Z2 is the first 4G Tizen smartphone to be launched today in India. The device features Ultra Data Saving mode, S Bike mode and the new My Money Transfer. Besides this, riding on the Jio preview wave, like all other Samsung devices, the Z2 also comes with a complimentary invitation to the Jio preview offer that gives customers free voice and data services in the trial period along with access to suite of Jio apps.
In terms of hardware, the Z2 does not impress much, it has a 4-inch WVGA screen and is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory that is expandable up to 128GB with a microSD card. This is a dual SIM device and is powered by just 1500mAh battery. The rear camera is 5-megapixel with LED flash and features a front VGA camera.
Samsung Z2 has been priced at Rs. 4,590 and will be available in three colours – Gold, Black and Wine Red starting from August 29, 2016 across mobile phone retail stores. For online buyers, the device will be available exclusively on Paytm.
