Samsung has announced its latest tablet for the American market. The Galaxy Tab A 10.1″ will be available in the United States starting from October 28 that supports S Pen functionality. S Pen was first introduced to the Galaxy Note series that enables users to draw or create notes with improved pressure sensitivity and a ballpoint pen-like experience. The S Pen can translate any word when hovered over it and supports Samsung Notes that combines Samsung apps like Action Memo, S Note and Scrapbook.
As far as tablet’s hardware is concerned, the Galaxy Tab A 10.1″ is powered by Exynos 7870 octa-core processor, 3GB RAM with 16GB internal memory and microSD card support up to 256GB and runs Android Marshmallow. Additionally, the tablet features a 10.1-inch WUXGA LCD display (1920×1200), 8 megapixel main camera, 2 megapixel front-facing camera, 7300mAh battery with up to 13 hours of battery life.
Samsung will sell the tablet on Samsung.com and select retailers from October 28 at $349.99.
