Samsung last week released a new firmware update for its Gear Fit2 that improves its fitness tracking experience. The new update streamlines sets for indoor activities and now comes with an Auto Pause feature that recognises user’s cardiovascular activity to continue recording or pause if the user stops suddenly.
The update also adds new dynamic workout option that starts recording depending on the activity determined by the motion sensor. New activities include basketball, table tennis, badminton, dancing and soccer, in addition to running, walking and elliptical and rowing sessions.
The update is available over-the-air (OTA), which will be prompted on the smartphone’s notification panel.
