Samsung has released a new software update for its Gear S2 smartwatch that will bring in new features and enhancements closer to its Gear S3 smartwatch. The value pack update now gives the option to customise with more watch faces, reminders app, alti-barometer and more.
The update now allows the user to rotate the bezel to accept or reject calls, dismiss alarms, timers. Moreover, the watch now supports handwriting mode, improved tracking with S Health, wider widget support, safety features and expanding game library.
The update has been rolled out in select markets and will be available to rest of the markets in the coming weeks.
