Samsung has confirmed that they’ve developed a new proprietary audio tech that improves the audio quality from any source. Called as the Ultra High Quality (UHQ), the tech enables 32-bit sound and has the ability to upscale from any source between 8-bit to 24-bit. Samsung claims the audio tech can upscale for wired and wireless connections.
The first two products that will support UHQ are Samsung’s H7 wireless speaker and MS750 soundbar. The wireless speaker is a winner of the 2017 CES Innovation Award that combines UHQ and bass response (goes up to 35Hz) to deliver a wider sound range.
On the design front, it boasts a metal finish in a compact size with wheel controls to change the volume even selecting the playlist.
The MS750 soundbar is Samsung’s first soundbar to integrate a subwoofer into its primary unit. It promises an immersive sound due to its up-firing capabilities and overhead sound that uses vertical tweeters with upmixing technology.
Samsung will showcase both the products at the CES next week.
