Samsung has come up with a new notebook at CES 2017. Targeted at gamers, it’s the Odyssey that promises gaming-on-the-go with premium design and features.
The new Samsung notebook will sell in 15.6-inch and 17.3-inch display sizes and boasts a HexaFlow vent that helps to cooldown the notebook during marathon gaming sessions.
As far as hardware is concerned, both variants pack a punch but the larger sized variant understandably has an edge over the other. For instance, users will be able to expand to total RAM to up to 64GB compared to up to 32GB in the 15.6-inch variant. Moreover, the larger Odyssey will have the option to go with triple storage (Up to 512GB PCIE SSD + 1TB HDD | Dual SSD + HDD) and volcano keycap compared to the dual storage and crater keycaps found on the 15.6-inch notebook. In terms of graphics, Samsung seems to still evaluate the GPU in the 17.3-inch version whereas the 15.6-inch Odyssey will have an Nvidia GTX 1050 onboard.
Both notebooks have Full HD anti-glare displays and processor options going up to 7th gen Core i7.
Samsung will release the notebook sometime later this year.
