If Samsung’s existing smartphone lineup wasn’t crowded enough, the Korean smartphone maker has announced a new phone for the Indian market. The Galaxy C9 Pro is targeted users who want to use their device as a smartphone-tablet hybrid.
Despite the large display, Samsung says the phone is designed to offer a one-hand grip, thanks to its metal unibody design and 6.9mm thickness.
Running Android 6 (Marshmallow), the C9 Pro comes with some decent hardware like a 6-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor and a whopping 6GB of RAM. The internal storage has also got an upgrade with the base memory starting from 64GB. However, users will be able to expand the storage further up to 256GB through a microSD card.
Moreover, it has a 16 megapixel front and back cameras, USB Type-C support, fingerprint sensor, FM Radio, 4K playback support and 4000mAh battery.
The phone also supports India-centric features like S Secure, S Power Planning, Ultra Data Saving (UDS) and My Galaxy.
The Galaxy C9 Pro will go on sale from second half of February in black and gold colour options for Rs. 36,900. However, the phone will go on pre-booking from January 27 with a one-time screen replacement offer for a year.
