Samsung will disable charging for Galaxy Note7 devices

March 27, 2017 By Siddhanth Leave a Comment

Galaxy Note7 Coral Blue

Samsung will pull the plug off the remaining Galaxy Note7 devices, the company has confirmed. They will release a new software update tomorrow that will limit the charging rate to 0%, which, in other words, will completely disable the charge and even disable the phone to latch onto any network in South Korea.

Samsung began the Galaxy Note7 recall program in October and since then 97 percent have exchanged or got a refund on their Galaxy Note7 phones in South Korea.
