Samsung’s Bixby voice capabilities extended to 200 other countries

August 22, 2017 By anish Leave a Comment

Bixby Voice
Initially only available in the US and South Korea, Samsung has extended the voice capability of Bixby across other 200 countries like the UKs, Australia, Canada and South Africa. One can perform every task on Bixby enabled application. For instance, one can send in the recently clicked selfie and say ‘Post the recently taken selfie to Facebook’. The cross-application functionality of Bixby gives it an edge.

Samsung plans to continue expanding Bixby’s voice capabilities to additional countries, languages, devices, features and third-party applications. Starting today, Galaxy S8 and S8+ users can enable Bixby’s voice capabilities by pressing the Bixby button. One can activate Bixby by holding the dedicated button on the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ phones, or by simply saying, “Hi, Bixby.”
