Samsung has teamed up with Microsoft to announce its first Windows Mixed Reality (MR) headset. Dubbed Samsung HMD Odyssey, the headset will deliver a premium virtual reality experience.
The head mounted display is equipped with dual 3.5-inch Super AMOLED displays along with 110-degree field of view and comes with built-in AKG headphones that offer 360-degree Spatial Sound for surround sound effect.
HMD Odyssey’s USP is its ease of use and installation, which according to Samsung, does not require to install additional motion sensors to make it work.
The Samsung HMD Odyssey along with two motion controllers will be available later this year in US, China, Brazil, South Korea and Hong Kong.
