Samsung has refreshed it’s Galaxy A duo with the new 2018 edition. The Galaxy A8 (2018) and Galaxy A8+ (2018) now come with Infinity Display that Samsung first introduced with the Galaxy S8 series and Galaxy Note8. The Galaxy A8 sports a 5.6-inch display while the Galaxy A8+ comes with a 6-inch screen. Both have Super AMOLED panels and sport FHD+ resolution (1080×2220) with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9.
Additionally, the phones also come with dual front 16+9 megapixel f/1.9 cameras that enable to take bokeh portraits and Live Focus support that allows adjusting the bokeh effect in real-time or in post-processing.
As far as other features go, the phones come with IP68 water and dust resistance support, octa-core processor, 4 or 6GB (A8+ only) of RAM, 16 megapixel f/1.7 rear camera, 32 or 64GB internal storage, USB Type-C with fast charging, 3000mAh (A8) and 3500mAh (A8+), Samsung Pay, microSD expansion slot (up to 256GB), Gear VR support, fingerprint sensor, and runs Android Nougat out of the box.
The phones will make its way to the market in four colours – black, orchid grey, gold and blue from next month.
