Samsung has announced the pricing and availability of its Galaxy A8 (2018) series smartphone for the Indian market. Interestingly, there won’t be the Galaxy A8 at this point of time but Samsung will sell the Galaxy A8+ on Amazon India website from January 20 in black and gold colours at a price tag of Rs. 32,990.
The Galaxy A8+ features an Infinity Display that was first introduced with the Galaxy S8 series and comes with a 6-inch FHD+ (1080×2220) Super AMOLED display and an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. The IP68 phone offers dust and water resistance and comes with an Exynos octa-core processor, 6GB RAM, 64GB of internal storage, microSD card slot and 3500mAh battery.
On the camera front, it has dual front 16+9 megapixel f/1.9 cameras that enable to take bokeh portraits and Live Focus support. Live Focus allows adjusting the bokeh effect in real-time or in post-processing.
