Doesn’t come as a surprise but if you were looking for any confirmation, Samsung mobile head, DJ Koh confirmed to ZDNet that the Galaxy S9 will be announced at the Mobile World Congress (MWC). MWC, this year, starts from late February.
The sale of the new device will follow a few weeks after, which is generally the case.
Koh also confirmed the launch of it’s foldable phone. It will be announced sometime next year, confirming yesterday’s report.
Koh says UX is the biggest hindrance when it comes to commercialising the foldable smartphone but is confident to overcome when they gear up to announce the revolutionary phone.
