Samsung and Qualcomm today announced that the global patent cross-license agreement between them now extends to Samsung mobile devices and infrastructure equipment and as part of the agreement, Samsung will withdraw its interventions in Qualcomm’s appeal of the KFTC decision in the Seoul High Court.
They’ve also announced a multi-year strategic relationship agreement wherein both companies will work in various technology areas and across a range of mobile devices, including 5G.
