Samsung has confirmed that Disney AR Emojis are now available on the latest Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ smartphones. As a start, Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ users can download Disney’s iconic Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse characters and share personalised messages. Disney will also roll out characters from The Incredibles, Zootopia, and Frozen throughout the year.
AR Emojis is Samsung’s answer to Apple’s Animojis but takes advantage of “deep learning and facial recognition technology to map more than 100 facial features to produce a 3D replica”. Users can also share eighteen pre-set stickers using standard GIF format.
Customers can download these characters from the AR Emoji mode in the camera app.
