Samsung Electronics launched the curved gaming monitor at the ongoing games exhibition – Gamescom 2018 in Cologne, Germany. The model name CJG5 features two sizes, 27-inch and 32-inch. The monitors feature a refresh rate of 144Hz and a WQHD resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels) for a smooth and detailed gaming experience. The curvature of the monitor is 1800R that surrounds the eyes for a immersive gaming experience. The On-screen display dashboard lets you select the gaming-optimized UI.
According to market researcher IDC’s Gaming Tracker in the first quarter of 2018, the market for curved gaming monitors has grown at an average annual rate of more than 10 times since 2015, and Samsung Electronics has the largest market share of 24% (Based on volume in the first quarter of 2018).
Besides this, Samsung Electronics will also showcase the world’s largest 49-inch curved gaming monitor CHG90.
The price of the Samsung curved gaming monitor CJG5 27-inch model is 275,000 won (approx Rs. 18,000) and the for the 32-inch model is 550,000 won (Rs. 35,000).
