After launching the Galaxy A9 in Malaysia last month, Samsung has made its quad rear camera-toting phone official for the Indian market.
Samsung phones in India are generally sold with an Exynos chip on-board but the Galaxy A9 comes with an octa-core Snapdragon 660 along with 6 or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage with an expandable slot that adds up to 512GB more.
The phone’s got a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED Infinity Display, 3800mAh battery and support for Dolby Atmos and Samsung services like Samsung Pay, Health and Bixby.
Camera-wise, the phone has four sensors at the back – an ultra wide f/2.4 8MP 120-degree, 10MP f/2.4 telephoto with 2X optical zoom, 24MP f/1.7 main sensor and 5MP f/2.2 depth camera. It also comes with software optimisation to improve the overall image quality.
The phone can be pre-booked starting today and will be released on November 28 for Rs. 36,990 and Rs. 39,990 for the 6GB and 8GB variant respectively.
HDFC debit or credit card users can also avail a cash back of Rs. 3,000.
