As expected, Samsung today made the Galaxy A8s official in China. The phone’s claim to fame is its new Infinity-O display or in other words, a full screen display with a punch hole style camera. This is an interesting implementation that features a 6.4-inch Full HD+ 19.5:9 display.
The 7.4mm phone boasts a 3D glass design and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 710 processor, 6GB and 8GB RAM, and 128GB internal storage.
Camera-wise, the phone is similar to the Galaxy A7 with a triple camera setup. The Galaxy A8s comes with 24MP (f/1.7) + 5MP (f/2.2) + 10MP setup.
Interestingly, there’s no 3.5mm headphone jack but still features the fingerprint sensor at the back.
Samsung has not confirmed the price but has started pre-registration for interested customers.
