Samsung revealed two new phones in the Galaxy A series,the A30 and A50 targeting the mid-tier segment. The Galaxy A30 is the low spec’d device out of the two. Featuring an edge-to-edge 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U display, the phone is powered by Dual core 1.8GHz processor + Hexacore processor clocking at 1.6GHz. The phone comes in 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB option. A30 and A50 also supports microSD cards up to 512GB. In terms of camera, the front camera is 16-megapixel and features dual-rear cameras of 16-megapixel and 5-megapixel. The battery is rated at 4000mAh with fast charging support, rear fingerprint sensor and Samsung Pay. It also supports Face unlock.
The Galaxy A50 is the high-end phone of the two. Like the A30, the A50 also comes with the same display, however is powered by Quad core processor. The cameras are upgraded in A50, the front camera is 25-megapixel and triple cameras at the rear are 25-megapixel, 5-megapixel and 8-megapixel. The phone comes with 4GB/64GB option and also 6GB/128GB option. The battery is 4000mAh with fast charging support. The A50 comes with on-screen fingerprint sensor, Samsung Pay, Bixby Vision, Bixby Voice, Bixby Home and Bixby Reminder. The phone will be available in Black, White, Blue and Coral colours. The availability and pricing of these devices is not yet revealed.
