Samsung has been pushing its Galaxy A series aggressively and the new phone that will soon hit the shelves is the Galaxy A80. This is a phone, which Samsung claims, has been designed for people “engaging in the era of live”. Marketing spiel aside, the Galaxy A80 is Samsung’s first phone with a rotating camera.
Fitted with a triple camera setup – 48MP f/2.0, 8MP ultra-wide f/2.2 and 3D Depth, the phone looks like a normal device but turning on the selfie mode makes the cameras pop-up and turn itself on the front. The cameras also support Live Focus, scene optimiser, super steady video and flaw detection.
As far as other hardware is concerned, the phone comes with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ (1080×2400) Super AMOLED display, octa-core processor, 8GB RAM, 128GB ROM, in-screen fingerprint sensor and 3700mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.
The phone will sell in Angel Gold, Ghost White and Phantom Black colour options.
